We feel extremly honoured proud and excited to have won "Commercial Trade Contractor of the Year for North Queensland” as part of the the Master Builders 2021 North Queensland Housing & Construction Awards. The competion was exceptional and the talent was so high this year, regardless the challenges we have all faced. The night, held at the Quayside Termial was exeptional and the JGC team wants to thank all our clients for their support and we look forward to the year ahead.
about JGC
I was born and raised in Townsville so home soil is very close to me and my business plays a huge part in my life. My wife Lisa is the account manager, Sam, my best man at my wedding is the Business Manager and Carl one of our Supervisors, well I was his best man at his wedding. You can’t argue, that we aren’t a family business, we are more than that. Our staff aren’t just work colleagues we are all close in friendship as well which makes for a great work environment, and that positivity, and enthusiasm in everyone helps me encourage our drive and enthusiasm right from the first phone call through to driving in nails on site.

MEET THE JGC TEAM
John Gray
Managing Director
Renovation and restoration is John's primary expertise. With his imaginative approach for all things renovation and restoration, his priority is to make sure all projects run smoothly.

With a background in finance and economics from Curtin University in Perth, Sam is in the office overseeing the day to day operations of the business. Sam is the firt point of contact for the team and is the voice you hear on the end of the phone when you call.

As Johnny's better half, Lisa deals with all accounts payables, receivables and keeps everyone in check. Lisa's priority is addressing customers needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible to develop and maintain strong relationships. When Lisa is not in the office she is at home with their little girl.

With over 10 years of experience in the construction industry and as one of JGC's previous head carpenters, James is now using his expertise as the teams construction estimator.

Thomas started with JGC as a school based apprentice and is now one of the teams lead carpenters. His attention to detail is second to none and he sure knows how to warm up to our clients.
